Angaston Mews Apartments

Indulge in Comfort: Your Escape to Barossa Valley

Originally built as housing for the local workers of the renowned 'Lindsay Park Stud,' a prestigious horse training property in Angaston. 'Lindsaypark Stud' holds a special significance as the training ground for numerous Melbourne Cup-winning horses.

As you arrive at our apartments, you'll be greeted by majestic horse statues adorning the front of the building. These statues serve as a tribute to the magnificent creatures that have graced these lands. Attached to each statue, you'll find plaques bearing heartfelt inscriptions. One plaque reads, '"Noggles" - Dads first horse (Bob Atkinson born 24th May 1932),' while the other quotes, "Smokey" - Horses lend us the wings we lack.' These inscriptions embody the deep connection between humans and horses and pay homage to the enduring spirit of these remarkable animals.

Our apartments offer a comfortable and welcoming experience to travelers from both near and far. Situated in close proximity to local cafés, cellar doors, parks, and gardens, you'll have easy access to the abundant natural beauty that surrounds us. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking walking and cycling trails, discovering the captivating landscapes at your own pace. And when it comes to dining, you'll be spoilt for choice with a variety of award-winning restaurants, all within a leisurely stroll from our doorstep.
